Welcome to Sauktown Church of Christ! Our minister is George F. Bond. He and his wife, Jean, began their ministry here in January of 2015. George holds Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Religion from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was ordained as a minister of the Gospel by the eldership of Agape Christian Church in La Porte, Indiana in January of 2014.

Bits of Trivia about the minister and his wife:

• They were married in 1994.
• They were both members of two contemporary Christian cover bands: Lighthouse and the Carpenter’s Tools. They were also a part of the worship team at Agape Christian Church.
• George was born in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, and spent a third of his life there, a third in southern California, and a third here in La Porte County.
• Jean was born in Belgium, but raised in La Porte.
• They enjoy motorcycle riding, especially interstate touring.
• Both feel very blessed to be called to serve at Sauktown Church of Christ.
